Today I took the time to find the speed signal connect it to the Apexi AP Engeering Power FC. No sooner as I went outside to work on the car, it started raining. Gotta love Okinawa with its two seasons Hot and Rain. So I pulled out a canopy to cover the car. The speed signal sensor is connected to the transmission and is used by the cruise control. On my old FC3S Turbo II in the states the cruise control box was in the drivers side kickpanel just above the CPU for the flasher, horn and turn signals.
The Power FC adaptor harnness has one extra long wire that is used for speed signal input. My car does not have cruise control so it does not have the control box, but the harness is still there. I found the connector just above the flasher CPU. The wire for the speed signal is on the bottom row of the connector, thrid from the left. The wire color is Green / Red. Because I'm never going to have cruise in the Infini I cut the wire behind the connector and spliced them together. Spliced, soldered, and heat shrink covered.
Right above it is the connector for the cruise control where the speed signal is
Speed signal is on the bottom row, third wire from the left.
Speed signal wire is green/ red
