Install CST Zero 1 Full Titanium FC3S CatBack

Well I could not wait to install the CST Zero 1 Full Titanium Catback this morning. I had planned on washing the car first but ended up just going ahead and doing the install.

After running on the scales again turns out to be 10.4 pounds ( 4.8KG ). I took the catback to a friends shop that has a lift so it would easy to install. The old HKS catback was in sad shape, big rust holes in it. and oh man that HKS cat back is heavy. Well got it on the scales and the old HKS catback is 62 pounds ( 28KG ). I had planned on breaking it down all the way but bolts where so rusted that the only way to take it apart would be to cut the bolts.

The install was easy, had a little fitment issue but made some adjustments and it fits good now. one thing I dont like about it is how the angle. I guess its so you can show it off. I would rather have it tucked up under the car a little more. I dont know you can use a normal pipe bender on Titanium pipe. I wouldnt mind bending the pipes a little more to make it fit how I want it to be.

Its not as loud as I though it would be, but I still have the stock down pipe and cat. I'm going to get a Night Sports or KSP high flow cat, so its still legal.

anyway here is the pictures, and a few videos. On the videos please right click and save as. to help save bandwith dont stream them off the server.

You can see all the pictures from today here Infini IV parts: Installed CST Zero 1 full Titanium Muffler Gallery

one thing cool about the CST muffler is you can mount the silencer in 2 differnet spots.

The old HKS exhaust is wicked rusted.

A few more pics after going and wash the car

Thats a nice catback. I really like the sound. Is there anyway to get one of these in the states?

Love the exhaust, when you say its possible mounting it in 2 different spots, you mean you it fits to on both sides of the car?

Yes, I knoqw I'm a bit late, but I was also wondering about availabilty in the USA. Althrough...
this sounds a little silly, but i woun't mind moving for such hight quality auto parts. (ie: a company called corksport made an exaust almost the same as that, minimal bend, 80mm, no resonator, etc. and it sounded SHITE.)
